To Kill a Mockingbird

April 13th, 2017 - April 23rd, 2017

Set in the deep south during the great depression of the 1930s, this play, adapted by Christopher Sergel from the book by Harper Lee, follows the lives of a brother and sister and their widowed father, Aticus Finch. The small family is thrown into chaos when Aticus, a lawyer, chooses to defend a black man accused of rape. The play's brilliantly crafted dialogue offers charm and humor despite the serious nature of the work.
